Local pub, the Village Inn not very welcoming.. went in with kids for food but were abruptly asked if we had booked & turned away because a quiz was on for the locals. I think the only thing I would suggest would be clearer...
I think the only thing I would suggest would be clearer check in information although we figured it out. We went to the shop and went from there. Fairlie is a little village just south of Largs and with a lovely beach on the bay - with views of the power station and Great Cumbrae. There is a friendly local pub, the Village Inn, with good outdoor garden space serving pub favourites.
