Fakenham is a market town which sadly seems to be struggling at the moment. It is generally quiet and people seem friendly. Fakenham is a good location for the coast but the town itself is small with only a few places to eat and drink and a small cinema, but pretty quite. We were left milk, coffee/tea and cake and other essentials in the cupboards, which were most welcome. When we had an issue with something in the kitchen which was broken, it was dealt with and replaced straight away. There was a lovely private garden, although we didn't have the weather to enjoy it unfortunately, but the fresh flowers on the kitchen table were a nice touch and brought the garden inside.
