Lovely big room. Quiet room. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. A great atmosphere in the pub with plenty of options for food and drink and a quieter area for people wanting to dine. Farnham is a great place. The location was very central. The hotel was new. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was dark. We slept very well. We are very experienced worldwide travellers, and I would say that this is the best hotel I have stayed in for price quality in the UK (probably because it is new). Parking is found up the alley to the left of the hotel.

    Farnham is nice and connected to Chawton House nearby, which is a great place to visit. The Revd Henry Austen brother of Jane was effectively the vicar of Farnham from 1822-1827. It has a fine castle and museum and Castle Street is lovely. Downing Street is about to be pedestrinised. St Andrews and its close is charming.

    The Sculpture Park which is next to the Bel and Dragon is a remarkable location and well worth the visit. There’s some 10 acres of grounds within which there are an astonishing number and large variety of sculptures. Unique in my experience is the opportunity to buy any piece too.

    I was born in Farnham 72 years ago and had only returned once 32 years ago! Some things had changed massively but others not. Parish church along with the adjacent school loked just the same. It was nice to reminisce.

    We didn’t go into Farnham but the area around the Surrey Hills is beautiful. Good for cycling and walking, although we were visiting nearby Ramster Gardens and Weald and Downland museum both lovely and very interesting.

    Farnham is a lovely town with lots of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, as well as plenty of shops to look around. It's a very pretty place with a good range of green space and parks to explore. There's lots of interesting history too, with old buildings and architecture to discover. The Castle Restaurant and Petite Pattisseria were our favourite places to eat. It has everything you need for a few days holiday.

    Didn't visit the town as I was working. Traffic is an issue with lots of road works and some traffic light systems that clog up the road quickly and put up the price of a taxi ride! Taxis the most expensive I have experienced over the travelling I have done over recent months. Uber not always available. Train station gave easy access to London.

    We had a lovely welcome at check-in, and this was done swiftly. Hotel is beautifully decorated and has a nice welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is right in the centre, yet a short walk from the train and has ample parking. Just a short stroll from the UCA Farnham. The room was very quiet even though there was a wedding party, so we had a peaceful sleep. Breakfast was lovely and a reasonable price. Overall, it is a lovely hotel, and we will stay again.

    Farnham House hotel is an excellent cost-effective hotel that I use from time to time when teaching at the University. The staff are super-friendly and very accommodating, especially with respect to me being a vegan and therefore having certain dietary requirements. I also work very long hours when in Farnham and they bend over backwards to allow me to come and go at unusual hours. Everyone who works there is great.

    The forest area is beautiful, the husband was helpful with advice about heaters, and trying to get Netflix working. Their little boy was friendly. It was Halloween, so dad and he were decorating their driveway with giant pumpkins. Farnham was a nice village with a great place to get nails done for a wedding and grab coffee and breakfast. It's a £7 taxi from the station.
