The Ring 'O' Bells is a fantastic place. Stewart was very kind. The room was spacious, tidy, we got water, beer, champagne as gift in our room. The breakfast was super. We had dinner there too and that was fantastic too. We were very satisfied. We offer this place to everybody.

This is a place for people who look for real English experience, who do not like crowds, but enjoy authentic interiors, very nice and welcoming hosts and meeting new dogs ;) (place is dog-friendly). In the evening, we have stayed in the climatic pub (in the same bulding) and we had delicious ale. I had sore throat so I received specially prepared drink based on whisky and hot water (delicious as well). In the morning, you can try typical English breakfast (also in the vegetarian version) and the landlady can tell you her family story going back to mid XIX century, which is also story of the very building you stay in. We did not have a chance to explore the town, however we went for a walk and it was very pleasant. Further, we have travelled by car and the B&B has a big parking place, where we could easily park it. We really, really recommend staying at this place! I am sure, that we will come back should we have a chance.

The cottage is beautifully located, comfortably furnished and very cozy. We loved the jacuzzi. The owner is very friendly. Our children loved the goats in the field just outside the cottage. Beautiful walks to the woodland and small waterfall just along the lane. Short drive to Bath - we used the Park & Ride. Lovely place, would love to come back.

Great pub and room combination. Food was excellent, dinner and breakfast and staff were friendly and made for an excellent overnight stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Top marks to the chef / owner who was great company and had time for a chat and beer at the end of the evening.

    Greeted as we arrived, Shown to our self contained self catering part of the Old Parsonage. A number of starter items were included like fresh milk, cereal selection, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and the best thing of all freshly home baked muffins x 6. The bedding was of such high quality it ensured a great nights sleep. Would we stay here again? 100% yes we would.

    the host was very helpful& polite & friendly & building & grounds very nice & interesting history of building, our favorite place we visited was wookie hole,we ate at farringdon pub just 2 minutes walk away,it was easy to get around the local area, nowhere in particuler, we found all places we visited ok.

    If you are looking for a top B&B at a very reasonable rate, great hospitality, comfort, building full of history, in lovely countryside and not far from Bristol, Bathe, Wells, the coast, Cheddar Gorge and many many other places of interest then this is the B&B for you

    The old Pasonage is a lovely building with a large courtyard. the owners only took on the building just pre covid and they have upgraded it. Farrington Gurney had a lovely farm shop and and cafe, a wonderful Indian curry restaurant and an average local pub

    It was very well situated, pretty much directly in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. Bristol, Bath, Wookey, Cheddar, Wells and Glastonbury were all places we went to, all of which were easy journeys from Farington gurney and were about 20-30 minutes by car. There were also very useful bus routes from Farrington Gurney to places such as Bristol and Bath which we did use. It is a small and quiet town but has several places around to get food and drinks etc.

    Loved the location in Farrington Gurney. 5 mins walk to Co op and local inn. 10 mins walk to Farmhouse cafe and produce. 5 mins drive to Tesco. Very clean and well presented by Tracey our host. Set in a lovely location, overlooking fields and set back from the main road. Private gated driveway. Accomodation linked to host home, no issues with that arrangement. Comfy bed and seating. Great views from the rear. Plenty of walks in and around. Used it as a base for the Bath and West show and to visit places in and around the area.

    The manager of the place, who is also the owner, was the only staff member we met, He was charming, welcoming and kind. The hotel was in royal style. The breakfast was tasty, rich and indulgent. The room had a coffee machine which was a significant bonus. A short walk from the hotel, we found a lovely pub to have dinner at.

    Most beautiful hotel. The rooms were so comfortable, clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. Even received a goody bag of the food we didn’t eat! The staff were so lovely and chatty. Great location, plenty of restaurants near by. We will definitely be back.
