The staff are so lovely and the Korean restaurant is so nice! Didn’t get to try the fire pit but I bet that would have been the same! It was a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Friendly welcome, Rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Bed is comfortable, feather duvets and pillows, quality bedding. We had room 5 at the side of the pub in the more modern part. Think this was quieter than the front rooms (but village road is quiet at night.). All meals were excellent and staff very amenable to personal food choices. We ate in the pub in the evenings, plenty of choice, though menu didn’t vary while we were there. Dog friendly 👍. Staff were all great and willingly shared their local knowledge. Bus X3 has stops nearby for easy access to Canterbury and Faversham. We would happily stay there again.

I loved everything about the property and the owners Steve and Sarah were the most hospitable. Sarah was out of town but Steve did an amazing job in person accommodating all of our questions about the apartment and surrounding areas. The property is situated on a lovely peaceful countryside walking distance to a new winery recently opened… Domaine Evremond where Steve personally delivered one of my bags that I left upon checking out of the apartment today! The space was clean and neat and well appointed for a comfortable stay!

I like Faversham, we visited the family, so didnt get to see much of the area this time, but from previous travels, we loved the Hop Festival, shops and cafes. There are lots of places nearby to explore too, eg Whitstable and Seasalter. And there are a variety of castles within easy reach. Even Dover Castle is doable and that's definitely worth a whole day visit. Eating out - Macknades is a great farm shop and cafe. We had great service and a lovely meal at The Alma pub and a great Thai meal at the Thai Orchid.

I stayed for a weekend to coincide with the Antiques Fair on Saturday and Favesham Safari on the Sunday and picked up some treasures during my visit. I had a lovely meal in "Ask Italian" in town on Saturday and "The Bear" on Sunday. Will definately visit again.

Faversham is an attractive old market town known for being the home of Shepherd Neame brewery for over 300 years. It has many well-preserved old buildings, a creek with Thames barges moored along the wharves and a good selection of places to eat & drink.

I really enjoyed staying in Faversham. The town has so much history and character. It is also quiet so ideal for a relaxing break. I love the fact the town has kept its brewery; so many towns haven't.

I have been here several times and always enjoy the small town oldy worldy ambience, the proximity to the creek and inlets, also the coastal areas nearby. There always seems to be a lot going on. This weekend it was the annual Festival of Transport, a must for anyone able to make it, to see hundreds of classic cars, buses, army vehicles and lorries, all drawn up in the various streets around the town, also the normal Saturday market.

Our host was so friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area (as we were there for only two days, this proved very useful and saved us from possibly wasting precious time). Nothing seemed too much trouble and breakfast was a delight of treats each morning that we were there. Location is far enough away from the town centre but within walking distance if you were to choose to do so.
