Everything about this place is perfect. The host Peter and the staff are brilliant. The room we had (5) was gorgeous with a comfy bed, huge bathroom and a separate TV room to chill in. The bar has a real fire. We had our meal here and both had steak which was absolutely beautiful and I was persuaded to try a few of the wines and settled on a lovely French one. The breakfast was also very good. Then off for a walk on Filey front to clear our heads x

It was a standard English on-site caravan. It was clean. It had parking next to van. The van is located in a VERY large holiday complex. It has lots of facilities. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't use any of them. The holiday complex is on the top of a tall cliff. There may be a shorter way to get down to the beach which we didn't find but if the way we found is the only way down it is a long way to the beach.

    Filey is a a small town on the East Coast of the north of England. It is fairly quiet but there are plenty of pubs, but not the type to play loud music or stay open until very late. Lots of places to eat, especially fish and chips. The beach is vast and the views from the many benches placed high above the beach are spectactular. The main town with the shops, restaurants etc is on the level, but if you wished to go to the beach area, it is down steep slopes.

    Been a few times to Filey for day trips but never stayed.

    Been a few times to Filey for day trips but never stayed. First time we'd been up into the town, was pleasantly surprised by the lovely independent shops, lovely bars and restaurants. Beach was beautiful, one of the best I've seen on the east coast. Will definitely return.

    Filey is a very nice relaxed town, plenty for the children to do. Beach is very clean and sandy. enough restaurants lots of fish and chip shops.But quality and prices do vary.Train to Scarbourgh best way to travel.cheap parking at the railway station.

    I was brought up in Filey, it has changed a lot over the years and not always for the better. Gutters unswept and many pavements in poor condition. . Crescent gardens and the promenade well maintained. Beautiful beach, the brig worth visiting Good Sunday lunch at the White Lodge. The Council needs to encourage more tasteful signage on cafes etc.

    Lovely beach.

    Lovely beach. Sand washed everyday by tides, perfect for sand castles etc! Huge space so plenty of space for sitting, games, kites. Sea shallow for quite a way so went out quickly but safe for young children. Life guards on duty. Filey still holds it's character with grand old Victorian crescent buildings. Parking was a challenge but not impossible. Short trip to the bigger Scarborough nearby for additional attractions. Walk on the Brigg so bracing! Fish and chips plenty of choice!

    We booked a guest house in filing to complete part of the Cleveland way we managed to do just over 16 miles from file to Scarborough in a few hours absolutely stunning views and the locals are amazing

    The location is excellent. 10 minutes walk down to the promenade and beach. Right in the centre of Filey old town so plenty of cafes, a large Tesco supermarket nearby and a few restaurants. Day time was busy. Evenings much quieter. We loved having the south facing terrace with partial sea view to sit out. We were blessed with good weather - dry and sunny at times. Comfortable beds. Having a secure parking space included was beneficial as limited on street parking. It was located within a couple of minutes' walk from the property.

    The hotel was conveniently located in the center of Filey, making it easy to get around. The owners was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night's sleep. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.

    location was great. The property was as described and met our needs well. The kitchen is fully equipped with every thing you could need. Facilities and beach very close by and Filey is only a 10 min drive away. Attractions such as Flanborough lighthouse and the cliffs 20 minutes away
