I needed a place to stay which I could use as a base for my...
I needed a place to stay which I could use as a base for my own planned activities: visits to Wester Ross, Inverness and Skye. The Cluannie Inn was ideal for this purpose, but other options (available on Booking.com) appear to be very good/excellent - in particular around Invergarry and Spean Bridge. The room had a large bed and two singles so definitely enough room for the three of us. Plenty of parking at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating.
