Golspie is a lovely place to stay & the Glenshee was perfect we had a small twin room which didn’t have a kettle in the room but you could make tea or coffee anytime in the eating area, breakfast was fantastic we were full all day. Golspie is a very pleasant town that offers good local attractions - such as Dunrobin Castle which is well worth a visit, including a captivating falconry display. Walkers are well catered for with the coastal path - taking the train to Brora and walking back along the coast to Golspie is a good day's outing. The climb up Ben Bragghie is a steep pull but offers stunning views and a close up view of Golspie's famous landmark: first Duke of Sutherland's statue. Golspie has plenty of parking and a reasonable range of shops. It is a bit short of cheap and cheerful restaurants. The Stag Hotel offers reasonable bar food but beware - it's kitchen tends to close very early in the evening!Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely locals. Didn't go in the pub, but there was one. Couple of wee coffee shops and a chippy. Co-op and Nisa shops on the door step.
