Everything was great. The staff is very friendly, always helpful and always has a smile on their faces. The location on the lake is indescribably beautiful. The lake view rooms are unique. Dogs are welcome in this hotel. There are guidelines, but these are not a problem for dog owners. We would like to say thank you to the entire team for this relaxing stay. We would love to come back. Booked this guest retreat for a place to stay whilst I attended my brothers wedding. It was perfectly located with shops close by. We didn't arrive until really late and was no bother to the host. He was very friendly and welcoming. The place felt warm and homely. The room we stayed in was clean and cozy. There was also a Fridge and it was provided with water and a snack. Very thoughtful. As it was just what we needed after a long evening. The bathroom was clean and provided everything we needed. Would definitely recommend if you need some somewhere to stay. All in five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you.

I have to say that Gravesend is not the prettiest of towns...

I have to say that Gravesend is not the prettiest of towns with many derelict buildings. The most impressive building in the town is the Sikh Temple. The town is very busy with traffic but is fairly easy to navigate around. We stayed in a very pleasant guest house outside of town which was perfect for going to Leo's Music Venue. This is the only reason we came to Gravesend. We ate at The Three Daws pub which has been pretty good on both times we visited. Traditional British Pub with a good British Menu. We had breakfast at The Hot Rod American Diner in Northfleet which again was very good!

Gravesend is a great place to visit as you enter the gateway to Kent. Near Bluewater shopping centre, Europe's largest shopping Centre with High Speed Rail links to London, you can get into Kings Cross on the High Speed in under 23 Mins. It is a river side Town, nice market and high street so good place to explore.

Gravesend Town has shops and a few arcades, which we didn't go through manly because the day was cold and damp and we were looking for somewhere to eat. We found the Kings Diner Cafe. Clean, comfortable with nice staff and good food.

Small town on the Thames with a lot of independent shops -- so less generic than many town centres. Famous as the burial place of Pocahontas (there is a statue). The railway is on the Southeastern High Speed route -- 23 minutes to London St Pancras. There are also southeastern trains to London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross, in about an hour, and Thameslink trains direct to Blackfriars, the City and Luton Airport.

Gravesend is a quite town on the Thames Estuary with a park and a promenade. Buses go to Chatham where there is a big Bus station. Can get buses going all over Kent. Also buses to Dartford and Bexleyheath. Trains to London take 1 hour. April has an Indian Festival. Also St Georges festival. Fireworks in November.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good and links for public transport, uber were good too. With both Ebbsfleet station nearby and Bluewater too, London was easily accessible and shopping facilities were easy to get to as well. The breakfast which was served was good quality for the price, but I would advise that in order to take advantage of the promotions that they offer for those staying at the hotel, that it's best to book breakfast at the time of making the booking.

This is a budget level and affordable hotel and was reasonably priced and the review is given in this context.. Good location for what I needed close enough to the town centre. Staff were extremely helpful as I was unwell and changed my room to a spare ground floor level room so I wouldn't need to negotiate any stairs.I liked the fact there was a microwave In the room and all the necessary cutlery and plates & bowls which came in handy for me. The room had a very good shower. The room was more than adequately sized.
