We enjoyed our weekend at this lovely property, relaxed in the garden surrounded by trees and birdsong. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean and comfortable. I’m sure this place would be amazing in winter too with the fireplace going.

Staff were really friendly and very professional. Comfortable room and bed. Very accommodating - adjusted my booking when I couldn't travel due to illness, asked my preferred time each day for breakfast and dinner. Fantastic food. Free and spacious parking. Very fair place and good value for money.

My husband and I loved our stay at Toad Hall Lodges. Gavin was a great host and made us feel welcome. We felt really relaxed after 2 nights here. The flower farm up the road was a great activity on one of the days - where we picked our own fresh flowers. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Great property for our friends reunion with a beautiful...

    Great property for our friends reunion with a beautiful garden and outlook. Did need a deeper clean particularly in the kitchen area I.e food still on baking tray in oven and a wipe down of the dining table revealed that it could be cleaner. Door from twin room to bathroom wouldn’t stay closed. Twin room not made up as a double as requested and agreed by Sadie.

    Halesworth is a lovely town that is very lively in good weather. It has surprisingly many delicatessen shops and cafes - the pedestrian zone is then full of tables and chairs and people enjoying themselves. Well worth visiting.

    Halesworth is a fantastic town.

    Halesworth is a fantastic town. Steeped in history, some properties are 800 years old. Ancient House cafe lovely. Explore on foot. Very dog friendly, we don't own one, but cuddled lots. Angel and White Hart do great food. Explore laneways and side streets, ghosts a many too!

    We went to Southwold cycling over the marshes, Minsmere RSPB, Aldenburgh and surrounding areas birdwatching. We ate mainly at the property. Traveling around was easy and fuel was a good price. We enjoyed our time very much and there was no negatives

    We didn't actually visit Halesworth, we only really drove...

    We didn't actually visit Halesworth, we only really drove through it and of course it was the location of our chosen accomodaation - CORNER FARM (which we highly recommend!) Suffolk is a lovely county. The countryside is amazing and within just a few miles, there are lots of restaurants (booking essential) places to visit, with the coast of Southwold approx 15 miles away. The country roads are narrow and unlit, but traffic is light.

    My purpose in visiting was to spend time with an elderly relative. Hence I used very few facilities. From previous experience Halesworth is a good base for exploring a lovely part of Suffolk/Norfolk

    Beautifully restored cottage just around the corner from deli, coffee, bookshop, independent shops and cafes in Halesworth. Easy to go for walks and do the town trail. Great place to use a base for exploring Suffolk - we visited Walberswick and RSPB Minsmere. Cottage is cosy and really well equipped - a home from home ! Lovely rainshower to start the day !Easy to park 3 mins walk away and host arranged car permit within a couple of hours of booking. Responsive and helpful communication with host, Kerry. Thank you for a lovely stay !

    The location was absolutely amazing for us as we have family that live in Halesworth so was only a five minute drive away. Great coastal locations around the area within a half hour drive. The property was immaculate and had plenty of the necessities. Overall a great stay!

    We came for the INK play festival in Halesworth. Blyth Lodge is in a lovely village location which is only 5 minutes drive into the town. The owner Chris and her daughter Amy couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The Breakfast Menu offered a wide choice.
