A hidden quirky gem of a stay. Imagine being sent back in time to stay with posh relatives in the country. Communal rooms for dining and socialising with afternoon cakes and fruit to help yourself. I spent hours chatting to fellow guests in the library and dining room. Superb grounds and views with lots of parking. An intrepid walk through the grounds into Stroud. Odd little bedroom reminicent of boarding school.

Made to feel welcome and valued from the moment we arrived. Reception worked some magic to get us settled in our rooms early and given the very good room rates we couldn't fault the rooms, service or location. Great parking and lots of excellent eating options close by.
