Definitely a dog freindly hotel, nice walk around the hotel aswell as bins outisde to put dog waste in. Bar area was dog freindly and comfortable. Room was clean and provided AC. Only downside was it costing £15 to have the dog when there was nothing special provided just limitations to where we could go.

We were away for Christmas and it felt as close to being at home as is possible. Wonderfully welcoming staff- headed by Baba the owner, exceptional food and relaxing but efficient atmosphere.

The location is excellent for the docks or the nice pubs/bars/restaurants that Gloucester has on offer. We had a room in the courtyard at the rear of the property and it was very quiet. We are regular visitors to Gloucester as we have a holiday caravan a few miles away and were down to pay a bill on it, so decided to make a evening of it and saw this on Booking.com and decided to stay. This is going to become a regular thing now and may even spend a night here over Christmas. Overall its an excellent place to stay.

No to bad but can be much better,noisy very early in the morning i don't expect that toilets are communal no private like you saying on booking system, toilets and showers quite dirty around the corners skirtinboards and all the pipes coverede on dust Luke like never been wiped

This cottage was beautiful, decorated with a mixture of old and modern. It was exceptionally clean and no comfort was spared. The cottage was fully heated on arrival and you also had the choice of more heat if you wished. There were plenty of towels, and really comfy beds. There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and a toilet and sink upstairs. Both bedrooms were very spacious. There was also a fully heated and very clean hot tub ready to use during anytime of the stay. The cottage is great for dogs, as it is easy to clean and there is a fenced out door space for them and a lovely walk through fields to the river Severn, to the front left of the cottage. There is also the added bonus of The Hub being a stones throw away, which has a store and a cafe - which was very friendly and had a good selection of food including. Veggie breakfast. Highly recommended.

    Stay was ok for work,no issues property in need of a bit of a refurd if honet. Like the lay out of the interior . Bathroom window handle is no operational no receptor for the handle to close against to lock off. Allroch lane has a few pot holes, But on the whole I found the place of for my needs,

    Very central with 2 very decent pubs. walkable into Gloucester (5.5 miles) on good footpath. Bus service from the war memorial into Gloucester and Tewkesbury. If you have your own transport there's plenty to see and do within 20 minutes or so

    The room was comfortable, spacious and exceptionally clean, with plenty of food provided for breakfast. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The B and B was in an ideal location for visiting attractions like national trust and English heritage. We visited Westbury Park, Symonds yat, Chasleton, Newark Park and Goodridge castle all of which were within easy reach and great places to visit. We ate at several places The royal exchange Hartpury, Toby Carvery Highnam and the Beefeater The longford Inn all of which served excellent food and offered a good dining experience. We would recommend a stay at this lovely B and b.

    We chose to stay in Hartpury as my daughter was competing at Hartpury college just 5 minutes down the road from Hillview, Our hosts were polite and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything that you could possibly need and lots of lovely little unexpected extras! The view from the rooms were breath taking and my daughters were delighted they could watch the field with horses with their foals from their beds!

    Lovely large room. The cake as a welcome gift was a nice touch. Breakfast choices (eat in the room continental) were simple but fresh and there was a fair selection. Excellent location for Hartpury College where we were attending an event.
