All was great, the staff is great and friendly, they act with you like you're family! The room was amazing, the view is beautiful! Right in the middle of the village, its a must for every visitor of the Brontë village. The food was fantastic as well and the price was more than correct. It's a great memory, thanks!!

We were made very welcome by Caroline and Adrian. Caroline had made a sponge cake to have with the cup of tea she made for us on arrival. Our charming twin room had it's own door to the outside with a little patio. The duvet was particularly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious - I was served my requested crispy bacon! We were free to use the conservatory and garden and read books etc provided. We travelled by public transport so the Brontë bus stop was perfect, one minute walk from our room. To reach the Brontë Parsonage, instead of walking on the main road, our hosts suggested walking through the pleasant park which led to the steep Main Street with the Parsonage at the top. There was a Sunday craft market on in the park and another in the village hall. Again, very conveniently, a few minutes walk away was Haworth railway station for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - a well-run heritage line which took us on the trip to Keighley and back with museums at the Ingrow West stop.

The property location is fantastic, only a short walk away from Main Street. The house was very clean, and renovated to an incredibly high standard. We had all the facilities we needed, and the fireplace on a very cold, snowy day was absolutely perfect! I managed to meet the owners when checking out and they are such lovely, friendly people. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for a weekend stay with family or friends!

    Lovely place in amongst the Hills & beautiful countryside. Main street is great for visitors with Bars, Cafes and shops though not all open every day. Can highly recommend The Fleece Inn for food but need to book as gets busy. Lots of walks in the area.

    Haworth is a beautiful magical village in West Yorkshire. I have been twice now and would definitely return. My partner and I love this place. It is very popular and attracts international/national tourists as well as local people. This place is a must for anyone. It is so picturesque and the people are very friendly. There is so much to do and see. It is popular due to it's history of the famous Bronte sisters, cobbled streets, steam train, quirky shops and old country pubs. However it is situated on a steep hill so would be difficult for people with mobility issues to access at times. There are uber taxis nearby that would help.

    I have been visiting Haworth for many years now (fifty plus)...

    I have been visiting Haworth for many years now (fifty plus). In all those years what I still love about the place is how it has remained loyal to its Bronte architecture. As well as the Bronte connection it is surrounded by some of the most beautiful, undulating countryside in the world. Some of the hills are not for the fainthearted, but less challenging walks are around that also offer spectacular views well worth the effort! Courses are run at the museum, in art and literature, for all ages which I highly recommend. The Haworth Old Hall is good for Bronte ambiance, featuring mullioned windows, inglenook fires, and good, wholesome food. Also, Haworth Old Post Office, delightfully quaint, has a great menu choice with rear, outside tables close to Haworth's parish church of St Michael and All Angel's . A day spent in Haworth offers plenty, but for the whole experience, steam trains, far reaching walks, slice of the Bronte's world, a longer stay is a must. You don't need to go far for the magic, it's all around!

    Haworth is the most wonderful 'step back in time' place and...

    Haworth is the most wonderful 'step back in time' place and I have loved it for years! Don't miss the preserved steam railway with its wonderful events, walking the moors up to Top Withens, and the fabulous churchyard!

    Wonderfully steep, picturesque main street but too many pubs, restaurants and retail outlets catering for tourists like ourselves. The main attraction for us was the Bronte Parsonage museum which was well worth visiting, and walking up to the moors.

    The Bronte Parsonage was excellent and perfect for a Bronte fan. The Fleece Inn does excellent food and drink with large portions. Lots of opportunities for walking around the area. Very easy to get to Haworth on public transport. Main Street has some lovely shops and places to eat, though bear in mind it is quite steep! Train fans will love the Worth Valley Railway nearby.

    The Fleece is a great hotel with an authentic historic feel. Perfectly placed at the bottom of the Main Street. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is delicious. An extra perk to the stay is you get 3 free mini ale drinks served in a wooden holder for being a customer. The locals are lovely too and shared that the pub is one of their preferred places to drink because of the beers and reasonable price. Breakfast is also included and was cooked to perfection.

    We arrived early and when enquiring about parking were told our room was ready and there was handy overnight parking very close for a small fee (approx £3). The room itself was comfortable, clean and in keeping with the aesthetic of the hotel and Howarth in general. Breakfast was included with the room and was excellent, the perfect way to end our short but sweet stay in Haworth and set us up nicely for our onward journey.

    Excellent location for exploring Haworth, literally a few minutes walk to the Main Street and the Brontë parsonage. Lovely welcome pack of essentials and it was so clean. The added bonus of having a Christmas tree and decorations was wonderful for our pre-christmas get away friends weekend. Beautiful cottage. We absolutely loved our stay!
