We got along really well with our hosts. So well that we talked for hours :D the Bed was comfortable and you have your own Bathroom. The house is a 10 min walk away from the trainstation and 5 min from the sea.

Very clean and new, good shower, well stocked both with basic supplies and little extras like fresh fruit and cake, well stocked with utilities, friendly local info available. Good shutters cut out some light. Lovely faint organ music from the nearby church on Sunday (not too loud though, very faint and pleasant).

The apartment was very comfortable. The beds and bedding were wonderful. The dishes and the kitchen are also very nice and every breakfast was a small feast for us. Really to recommend, our holiday got better because we stayed in this accommodation.

    Herne Nay has everything you could want or need for a seaside break. Lots of typically English seaside activities such as amusement arcades, crazy golf, children’s fairground rides and amusement on the beach as well as on the pier. Lots of places to eat and drink, we found also the prices in Wetherspoons very reasonable and family friendly.

    Having been to Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs etc

    Having been to Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs etc Herne bay just didn’t have the same impact on me unfortunately…. I went to a show on the Friday night and sitting down by the sea was lovely but not a fave of mine.

    Herne Bay in itself is a lovely place but it has become rundown, lot of shops are closed down . Pier is shut early evening , not enough nice places to eat , and considering this is summer season not much going on either , quite disappointed.

    Sadly Herne Bay was not the place for us.

    Sadly Herne Bay was not the place for us. In some places it looked very run down, and there was an awful smell in the air….almost like plastic. But the residents we met were very friendly and welcoming.

    Lovely walks to the town along the coastal path.

    Lovely walks to the town along the coastal path. Beautiful natural scenery. The town is a typical British seaside town. There are some gardens with colourful flower arrangements. The pier has lots of little stalls in beach huts selling gifts and food and there are fairground rides for the little ones. Pet friendly.

    Ideal for young families and retirees being not too busy. Nice restaurants and coffee shops, kids playground, good pubs and plenty of places to walk to along Kent Coastal Trail. Excellent Kings Hall for live bands.

    I liked the layout the place was perfect for just me and it would be perfect for a couple the location is right by the beach all the facilities are a short stroll away. It’s nice and peaceful plenty of parking in the street as my car was to large for the drive but a small car would fit the host was on hand if anything was to be needed thankfully I didn’t need anything I would say it was perfect for me and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in herne bay

    This B & B did not disappoint us. Our room was spacious, clean and well supplied. Our welcome and all contact with staff was good and the breakfast was great. Plenty of choices. We would definitely stay ar the Sleep-Inn Hare again if going to Herne Bay.

    The outside of the building looks rather unloved,but the apartment we stayed in met all of our needs for a one night stay. It's clean and very well equipped for a longer stay for anyone. Lovely and close to all that Herne Bay has to offer.
