A cheap and cheerful hotel.
A cheap and cheerful hotel. Okay for a one or two night stay. A little tired but value for money as a lot cheaper than other places locally. Clean and nice touches in room like drinking chocolate and quality biscuits. Comfy bed and nice bedding and towels. Restaurant and bar areas are lovely, rooms and general hotel needs an update. The hotel was interesting with lots of little staircases giving it lots of character, the restaurant and the bar were warm and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast there in the mornings, we were visiting Rowley Regis where I had a Judging appointment for dogs, so didn't spend much time in Himley itself. The only problem I had was that our room was right at the top of the hotel and being an older building there are no lifts, I do have mobility issues and normally ask for a disabled room on the ground floor. This hotel only has two ground floor rooms and they get booked up very fast. Other than someone smoking in their room and causing the fire alarm to go off about 1am, it was a nice stay and I have recommended the hotel to the club that I judged for this year.Guest review byShirkeiraUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Wi-fi non existent, let it down as in an area with poor signal which was really disappointing. Staff said they had rebooted however looking at reviews & this is not a new issue, needs to be sorted. Also a spruce up as a little shabby in places. The restaurant let it down on the first night my husband and I both sent our meals back as they were inedible the second ones were fine.
