These are one of those hotels who keep courtesy and service as number 1 wich we have lost in most hotels these days and believe me It did feel welcoming, it was clean everywhere smelling fresh the gentleman at the reception when checked in upgraded one of our rooms to an executive room. The style of the hotel reception and path ways had a touch of the 80s wich I obviously liked. The next morning I took my little one for a swim what he really enjoyed later mr Adam at reception did a great gesture by offering us breakfast without any charge, even tough I wanted to pay for it. Greatly trained staff know how to deal with guests properly and make them feel welcome definitely will book future stays in this place.

The room size was surprisingly big, very very spacious. Calm atmosphere, inside and outside the property, friendly staff. Also the room was very clean, and especially we are people who are always very concerned about cleanliness. Very dog-friendly too! We even stayed one more night because we absolutely loved it. If we ever come back to this town then it will defenitely be this hotel.

The owner was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The place was so clean that it felt like I was the first one to stay there. Lovely location with a couple of nice pubs less than a mile away.

The Pod is stylish, comfortable and immaculate. We immediately felt at home and appreciated the sense of calm and tranquility created by the unusual architecture of the Pod itself and the green space stretching out in front of the property. We slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. We were in the area because our son was competing in the Triathlon Super Series at nearby Mallory Park. If he succeeds in progressing to the Grand Final which will be held at Mallory Park again in September, we will most certainly stay at the Pod again.

    We had dinner at pizzeria inferno, it was really the highlight. Service was great and had some seafood linguini that I am still thinking about, a week on. The town itself is as unremarkable as any town in the midlands. The current politics' events had it also covered in Union Jacks and St. George's Crosses. If that's your thing, you are in for a treat. No wonder Frodo and Sam preferred to walk for months into Mordor, to get out of the shire.

    It is a lovely town with traditional market stalls that line the streets on Fridays and Saturdays. There are plenty of exciting shops and lots of places to eat. You must go to a Wine shop & coffee lounge called Epicurean, a cosy and homely community environment.

    Liked · We arrived and Emma the manager was there. She greeted us so well. Spent 3 nights at hotel and Every morning for breakfast, she was there with a smile. Another colleague (didn’t get her name) was also there on the 2nd day of our stay when and helped us when we needed to change out key. Room service was also very quick and helpful when we called on 2 nd day for the sofa bed to be changed Great hotel

    poor bar selection. Do not order the Malbec. Food was good but the food service in the bar was not great. Good value stay with free parking and large room, though lacking air-conditioning. Perfect location for access to the area being at the junction of the A5 and M69 - there was however, no intrusive noise despite being close to these major roads.

    We able to book in before 3pm as room was ready and was able to book breakfast for our entire stay,I had already booked at table for Sunday night in the restaurant which was confirmed. We found out on arrival we would have pay extra to use Spa as I had booked through booking.com.On previous visits to this hotel we were able to have use of swimming pool as guests of the hotel this should be been made clear when booking.£20 for two people to swimming each time we use the pool is excessive ,as I had ready pay a great deal of money for the room.Needed more bar staff when there are wedding parties as had to wait to be served and paying for our meal in restaurant.When going for breakfast on two occasions we have say we had paid on arrival as not noted at restaurant.After the first time i went to reception to confirm and was assured that this was done but it happened the following morning which was a bit annoying.

    Beautiful, peaceful accommodation and garden. With perfect hosts. Couldn't wish for better.. Thank you Linda and hubby. Loved the chickens, Roosters and flowers.. And the freshly laid eggs and homemade jam you gave us 💖☺️🤗🌹

    Everything from arrival onwards was lovely. Staff go out of their way to help. Food choice in the hotel was very good. Gluten free and vegan options for all meals. Great selection at breakfast. We have a dog and she was made so welcome even being given a lunch bag of chicken each day. The pool is great - very clean. Rooms were very comfortable.
