The house was very clean and spacious. We travelled from South Wales for a boxing tournament. The location was great, only 8 miles away from the venue. Beds were comfortable.

A wonderful stay . The hotel is close to the beach. The level of service is personal , very welcoming and was outstanding . Nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast was made to order and was delicious. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Sue & Chris were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and were fab hosts. Travelling by myself as a young woman was nerve wracking but I felt so safe during my stay and I would highly recommend. I was in Hartlepool for placement and so needed a good nights sleep which it definitely provided, I slept like a log! The continental breakfast provided was ideal and had everything that I would’ve wanted. The rooms were spotless. Although I didn't manage to explore Hartlepool, it is a short walk away to from the shops and restaurants as well as the marina being around the corner. If I was ever in Hartlepool again I couldn’t think of a nicer place to stay.

    The beaches and walks if you have a dog are great.

    The beaches and walks if you have a dog are great. There are lots of shops a few minutes away in the car. Hartlepool is very nearby and has everything you need. The caravan park was well kept and in a great location. Great value for money as well. We had fish and chips on the site which were fabulous.

    Hardwick Hotel is actually in Blackhall Colliery , a few miles south of Horden. Hotel location is fine and the fact that you can self cater is good, Across the road is a Premier store and nearby a C0 OP store , and up the hill Riley's fish and chips , one of the best I've had. Also great beaches for walking ,
