The decor, garden, staff, and position were all superb. Close to restaurants and town centre. The room was warm and bed was comforyable. Loved the small breakfast table in the room and the excellent continental breakfast just made the whole stay brilliant will certainly be going again. The lights remote controlled plus the garden lights crested a wonderful ambience. Also the bottle of prosecco was a great added bonus.

We liked everything about this stay; the facilities are excellent with high quality fixtures and fittings making you feel comfortable but pampered. Mandy is an excellent host..informative, caring and with (for us) the right level of interaction to ensure privacy and independence of guests. There is an excellent guest area for eating and relaxing although we werent there long enough to use the facilities in full this is a real bonus factor at this stay. It is well placed for all activities in Hornsea, near to the seafront and many bars and restaurants with a short easy walk to the Floral Hall. Plenty of free parking at the back too.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous wonderful space and attention to detail. Nice with a conservatory and garden also. Lovely touch having slippers and dressing gowns as we were there 4 nights. Location was excellent next to the mere.

As a last minute Christmas week break at the seaside with two boys it was absolutely perfect! Great location, so much room, spotlessly clean and so homely. We were all so relaxed and wished we had longer. Already looking forward to coming back!

    Very clean everywhere, plenty of space to roam. Lots of places to eat and drink. Floral hall has lovely food and you can watch the bowls matches when they're playing. Cloud nine bar good food and drinks. Sports centre with pool.

    It was lovely n quiet and have been before but this time...

    It was lovely n quiet and have been before but this time I've had no help no satisfaction. When we arrived all 3 tvs weren't working went to reception in morning said it was WiFi and they would reboot it. It didn't work said would try again but didn't work got to 4 45pm qnd asked again came down at 6pm found the cable was missing so took it from upstairs didn't try other tvs said he was going for a cable but never came back. Next morning awoken with smoke alarm. I had to ring emergency number he went to reception turned it off he never came down to check then it went off again. He came down took down smoke alarms from kitchen n bedroom and went said he would be back. I mentioned tvs he said he would sort it. Rang 11 25 he told me he was on lunch. He cane 1pm and put one smoke alarm in kitchen and left the bedroom off . I asked about tvs he said it would get sorted. We didn't have a smoke alarm in bedroom from Wednesday morning and no bedroom tvs all week. This is dangerous and as for tvs part of package I spent 3 days of my holiday up n down to reception and on the phone with no satisfaction.. The lodge isn't cheap but didn't have the basics. Also shouldn't have to beg for things and put in a position of feeling uncomfortable. Awaiting apology and compensation thankyoy

    A welcoming town with all amenities within easy walking...

    A welcoming town with all amenities within easy walking distance. There are many weekly local activities and a calm leisure centre. Honeysuckle farm is fantastic for old and young. Do go to the pantomime in the summer months; professional and hilarious!

    A lovely town with be lots of unique shops and good restaurant facilities. The local people are very welcoming and friendly and the town s not commercialised - unlike a number of UK seaside places: a really nice feel to the place.

    Hornsea has lots of good pubs and bars.

    Hornsea has lots of good pubs and bars. It has a row of nice cafe bars! It has a lovely beach and traditional bucket and spade shops. The Mere is also a very nice place to visit and about 10 minutes walk from the town. The museum is great and well worth the 6 pound entrance fee and sells Hornsea Pottery items. We had tea at Maas Indian restaurant which was delicious.

    Lovely town street with a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and takeaway aways. Easy access to the beach and promenade. Clean place with friendly people. Facilities on the sea front. Small, long sandy beach. Watch out for little fish that can sting you though.
