The hotel was lovely, my room was comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast slot, beginning at 0830, was very civilised and relaxing!

It is a small very stylish hotel . Our room was very comfortable and and had lots of personal touches eg. the flask of milk for our morning tea , the tea cake . We had the MOST delicious meal at the hotel bar!! The young hotel staff were very welcoming in particular Anna who one can only describe as a service professional. I would highly recommend this gem of a hotel .

Loved everything about Crab Cottage. It's comfortable, warm clean and warm. Location is quiet and parking at Crab Cottage is easy , out of the car into the cottage. Location is perfect for the quay and town. Perfect for the bus stop to Walsingham (a must in snowdrop season, it's beautiful). We will return at the end of the summer season to explore the area.

    I had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional bed and breakfast—it felt like a real home from home. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome. The breakfast was absolutely delicious prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The service throughout my stay was excellent, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. I've added Jefferies B & B to my list of great places to stay. Highly recommended!

    Houghton St Giles is a hamlet just outside Walsingham and...

    Houghton St Giles is a hamlet just outside Walsingham and about 4 miles from Fakenham and the same from Wells-next-the-sea. Most people will need a car to get there - there is a bus service however, if you are able to manage the luggage. It's not very frequent, so check before you come. Houghton is very quiet. It is a place where you could stay as a pilgrim if you are able to walk, since the Roman Catholic shrine (slipper chapel) is a couple of hundred yards down a footpath, and the same footpath leads to the pilgrim way into Walsingham itself.
