The views from Inverary are exceptional.
The views from Inverary are exceptional. The residents of the town are very friendly If you want to unwind, slow down your pace of life, find real peace and relaxation then Inverary would be an excellent choice to visit. We ate an evening meal from the local fish and chip restuarant and sat looking down the loch enjoying it. Walking around Inverary is easy . Inveraray Jail, was amazing to see what jail life was like n the 1600s Very first item we saw was a man who stole 2 horses, and a cheese he was hung for his crime, couldn't stop thinking about it all day.. Really need to see it for yourself to understand how bad life was back then. Inveraray Castle was beautiful and so interesting, had a lovely tea outside before looking round the gardens and walking through the grounds. A pleasant small town with a beautiful outlook over Loch Fyne. The consistent white facade of buildings added to the aesthetic appeal. The tour de force is the castle. This has a very interesting interior with weapons displays, everything is well kept. Really enjoyed our stay in Inveraray .
Really enjoyed our stay in Inveraray .It is a great place to walk around and the views are super .A nice historic wee town .Its very dog friendly too which was important for us .The Inveraray Inn hotel where we were staying is brilliant and the food was superb .We will definitely be back .Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I had a wonderful room, very comfortable bed and high quality shower and other fittings. All the staff were lovely and upon arrival I spent some time in the cafe/ bistro over the road from my room, which is also run by Brambles. I paid more than I normally do for a hotel room, but it was worth it for the experience. The staff also ensured that I could park my bicycle safely under cover.
