The hotel was lovely, my room was comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast slot, beginning at 0830, was very civilised and relaxing!

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding in nearby Thursford, but that was enough to feel how special Bert is. He does not just run a bed and breakfast, he shares his house with his guests and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Besides, the breakfast spread was amazing.

Lovely clean and quiet. In a good location for event in Holkham Estate. Off street car parking and very helpful hosts. I was late arriving and they even had 2 lovely slices of homemade cake left in the room. Bathroom was spotless and the robes/slippers were a lovely touch.

    Very conveniently located for the North Norfolk coastal...

    Very conveniently located for the North Norfolk coastal towns and Sandringham. Fakenham is close by for the bigger supermarkets and shops. We stayed here as we visited the Christmas Fair at Sandringham and also took in the Christmas Spectacular show at Thursford which I would highly recommend. The cottage we booked was fabulous and perfect for a short trip away.
