Incredible accomodation, especially for the price. The single room was surprisingly spacious, with a controllable ac and heating unit. Bed was comfortable, and had sockets and light switches at the bedside which was very useful.

We came to visit Spurn point for birding, which was fabulous as usual, but Hull is one of our favourite places. It is a vibrant city with lots going on, from the arty fruit market scene; the historic and fascinating museum quarter; the marina; or the city centre with lovely art gallery events venues and theatres, to The Deep. Great shopping if that’s your thing. Something for everyone and the people are very friendly.

House looks like undergone usurpation: cigarette butts, dog food scraps, broken doors, beverage spillages, spider webs… It stinks. Host does not help at all. Not even visit the place just once along the 3 weeks I stayed. Absolute scam.

Really interesting city with plenty to do from museums , shopping centres leisure and easy excursions, eating out, great historic pubs, sports. Went to Beverley on the train for a half day excursion. Streetlife museum was excellent and the redevelopment of the old docks into new uses was really positive.

The people in Hull are friendly, very helpful, And lots of different things to do, The Deep was Amazing, Art Museums, The Hull History Centre was very very Helpful as I was looking for my Grandad that stayed in Hull, He had passed on, but I tried to find out about him and his past as part of my Family Tree...., The Central Library hosted events for my son who has Neurodiversity, we had a lovely time,,only downfall for me was I couldnt eat out as no one would serve me with being Coeliac, I had to Tescos and eat wraps for 3 nights, but The Cafe Asi served me Baked Potatoes with Cheese and salad, lovely and friendly staff,,Thank you,,

I am originally from London and came to Hull for University, 30 years ago. I stayed! Don’t believe the media hype, make your own mind up. Hull is a hidden gem, you just need to dig beneath the surface. Anywhere is what you make it, and I made it my home.

Like many areas it is very run down in places and you can get pestered by beggars. Transport on the whole is good but working out routes can be quite confusing. The free museums are a must to visit as is the art gallery.

We booked an apartment across the city that was cancelled 12hrs before our stay. This hotel was booked at 10pm night before and came up trumps. Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the MKM stadium (walk) and city centre (via taxi) Only issue i had was Michael Flatley at 7.30am in the room above, not hotels fault though. All in all enjoyed our stay and what Hull had to offer.

Needed a hotel room near Hull and this came up as a cheap and cheerful recommendation. Room was as expected above a pub, quite noisy but nothing a pair of earplugs didn't sort out. Breakfast was standard fayre, the filter coffee was terrible but the staff are so friendly and cheerful. Good meal in the pub downstairs and they offer guests 20% off All in all it was a solid 7/10

This is closest hotel for the Bonus arena and city centre just a very short walk, it was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, this hotel is value for money, parking in the multi-story next door must be the cheapest anywhere for a city at £3 for 24hrs, I think Hull city actually wants visitors to come even the museums are free and very good.

Honestly the best hotel experience I have had in years. The lovely Judy welcomes you with a smile and greets you with her beautiful Hull accent. Extremely clean, homely, modern and great access/parking. The food and bar is perfect but above all the staff are friendly, professional and make you feel like they want you there. Very impressed and I will definitely return.
