Unusual location for a farm, being just off the motorway. Once you are used to the roads it is very easy to drive to either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Excellent room and breakfast. Good wifi and good price for Scotland. Despite the closeness, there is no problem with the traffic noise.

Excellent stay, lovely room and cosy restaurant/bar. Always come back here when I need to travel as it’s right beside the motorway! The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Very clean room, comfort beds and this gave us the chance to have a good rest. Far from Edinburg though and from Glasgow so next time we should find a nearest accommodation but the hotel was ok. A plus is the pub below so you can grab some beers without having the anxious of driving.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in this little, charming barn. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay while still respecting our privacy. The barn itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we could possibly need and more.The hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The location is idyllic; peaceful and quiet with lovely walking trails right on the doorstep and the stunning Black Loch practically in the backyard – perfect for a paddle boarding session. Its proximity to Edinburgh was also a great bonus for a day trip into the city. Meeting all the dogs and parrots was definitely a highlight of our visit- they are such a characters! We wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic place for a getaway!

    We didn’t spend any time in the village so can’t really say but it was nice and quiet . My friends had a lovely meal in the beefeater and we had Chinese takeaway the first night. Pity for they wouldn’t deliver
