Great place to visit on short stay.
Great place to visit on short stay. Mother Shiptons Cave was a disappointment though as we were expecting a cave you could walk in but this is definitely not the case though so bear that in mind as £15.00 per adult is expensive. We love it.

A lovely market town, quaint and friendly.
A lovely market town, quaint and friendly. Convenient to Harrogate, Skipton and York. Lovely riverside walk and boating opportunity. Plenty to do in and around the area. It’s quite hilly near the town. Had a great Steak & Ale pie at The Worlds End pub. Great hosts and we really enjoyed Mao's Thai meal and the Aragon's fish and chips. A great location for busses to Harrogate and trains to York.
