This place is just fabulous! 5 stars to the people who was in charge of the decoration job here. A perfect way to decorate an old historic building like this. I was on a walk along the Grand Union canal. My room, number 12, was luxurious and with a very well sized and completely new bathroom. However the best memory from this stay was meeting Gail, who served me breakfast. A very charming woman who went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Every hotel should have a person like her in the staff. Since there were no other guests in the breakfast room we had along chat and she told me about the newly refurbishment.

The room was comfortable, the decor was gorgeous, cleanliness was 10/10, the staff were professional, inviting and helpful, the breakfast was brilliant, we enjoyed a cocktail in the sky bar, the lift was quickly fixed after it wasn't in service, the foyer is stunning and the on site restaurants provided a nice variety of quality food, the spa was beautiful and the pool clean and well maintained, all the spa facilities were working properly and the touch of free drinks was lovely.

More than happy to reccommend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay close to the NEC. It's not walking distance but is around £10 in a taxi for a short 5 minute drive. Good size rooms, very comfortable and very clean. Good tea/coffee facilities too, and zero issues with the wifi! Breakfast & dinner both decent, with a good price. Welcoming staff!

    Just stayed one night after visiting the NEC.

    Just stayed one night after visiting the NEC. Great location right next to the Grand Union Canal. Staff where all friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. The food was excellent, and a great atmosphere in the bar / restaurant areas. The room was a little tied but comfortable and had all that you need for a short stay.

    We could not contact reception as the office closed at 5pm. We were delayed by traffic and could not reach a human contact to discuss the options and arrange late entry to the hotel. In the end we did not gain entry and had to make alternative arrangements. We had pre-paid so I guess they had our money and hard luck to us was the attitude. A terrible experience.

    Very comfortable pub with rooms on the riverbank in Knowle. Easy check-in, very friendly staff. Breakfast menu was varied, excellent breakfast with tea/coffee/juices etc. Beautiful decor, very comfortable. Will stay again.
