Everything was just perfect. lovely staff, amazing place, great breakfast selection, even in bad weather the stay is amazing. a circular hiking trail right by the hotel. high quality food in restaurant. pets frinedly!

A lovely place in a wonderful location with a helicopter in the garden which made it especially interesting. Very nice owners and the piano in the living room which was in tune so I could place an Elton John on it. also the place seemed to be free of corporate lawyers.

It was right next to the sea. Spectacular views. Unique flair. You could feel the centuries that have passed by this house. Very comfortable bed! Nothing to do better. Host Anette was very friendly & communicative.

The location and the garden were very nice. Mike put up a hungarian flag to welcome us, that was a very kind gesture. The facilities were extraordinary, keeping in mind that we slept in a helicopter. The bed was more than comfortable. Home made breakfast was delicious, thanks to Caroline (and probably Mike too 🙂). We definitely recommend this place if you want something special... even if you are not a fan of helicopters! Also Lizard point is really beautiful. We spotted some grey seals there.

We loved our stay here. It’s very quiet, and has a cosy, rural charme we liked a lot. The donkeys and hens in front of the door were an absolute plus for us, too. Kitchen is well equipped, and the bed is cosy. We didn’t miss anything and everything was well thought of. We felt very welcomed. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely and warm on arrival. Lovely welcome treats and a thoughtful Christmas tree up for us plus logs for the log burner. Great kitchen diner area.

What a fantastic property this property is everything that has been advertised and more. The first thing to mention is the views is just wow, from the big windows the view of the ocean with boats, ships, birds inc a kestrel and a seal. You can see the headland and the gardens of the property with rabbits and even a fox, so no need for a TV. Inside you have everything you need its very comfortable, at night there isn't any light pollution or noise all you can hear is the ocean. There are plenty of walks around the property to the headland opposite is easy and down to the beach is fairly easy too, on the last day I walked over to the right of the property if you do this go via the sculpture park this is an easier walk, I do NOT recommend the coastal path near the beach. Coverack is a pretty village only a mile away with a pub restaurant. Back to the property there are 4 flights of stairs but you only have to do this twice with luggage. (I'm not writing in the dislike box below as this goes against the property even if you put "didn't want to go home" anything written in there goes against the property) My only dislike was the toilet flush sometimes you had to do this a few times to flush everything down. We would love to return to this property again. Oh I forgot to mention George the Gull he stands/lies on the concrete ledge outside the windows he will sometimes knock on the windows when closed.
