The room was modern and spacious with any amenity you could possibly need in a hotel. Also the bathroom was stacked with plenty of towels. The restaurant for dinner was a big step up from the breakfast. Quick, friendly service and amazing food. Also being literally across the road from the airport is a big win.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property, dating back to the 13th century, is stunning and full of character. It’s set in a beautiful, lush, and green area that offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very professional and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Dinner was fantastic, Apo was a wonderful host at the restaurant and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Also Pedro was a great host making our first day very enjoyable. Truly loved everything about our stay.

    Service was not good .

Service was not good . We waited long for check in and 3 times had to use my card as the Internet service was bad at reception and kept declining. Room was smelly and pillows were not comfy and old . No extra pillows provided in the room. At breakfast time waited ages for someone to book us but no one available so we went in to the dinning area . Then a staff member rudely asked what room we are in ! Explained no one was at the front desk so came in after waiting ages and also seen other couples face the same thing during breakfast time . The name of the hotel and what we seen advertised was not the same expectation.

Good The swimming pool was set to a good temperature, warm enough to enjoy a long swim. Sauna room was too large to get very hot but was still enough to create a sweat. The gym was well equipped with lots of machines and space to workout. Plenty of space in the car park Bad When we arrived 2 members of staff completely ignored us while we waited behind another customer. We had to wait for 10 minutes while the 2 members of staff continued to gossip and pretend there were issues on the computer to look at which quickly disappeared as soon as we began receiving service from a third member of staff. UNPROFESSIONAL! If you don't want to serve everyone that visits regardless of race don't work in the service industry. It's not slick nor clever and passive aggressive behaviour is ALWAYS noted. The hotel is linked directly with a neighbouring pub and visitors of the pub can access the hotel unperturbed straight into the corridor by the rooms. In addition to this there are no peep holes on the doors of the family rooms. We were placed in room 6 on the ground floor which made us extremely uncomfortable and nervous. On both nights at approximately 12am and 12:30am I left the room to check my car in the carpark to find no one at the front desk and the entrance door unlocked. Major security risk with families based approx. 30m down the hall straight from the main entrance doors. Room 6 was meh to say the least. Basic drab decoration. More a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Small selection at breakfast but was tasty enough.

The hotel has potential but is overpriced for what it offers. The Deluxe rooms should be just the standard offer and where not really worth the extra cost. The food available in the bars was poor and in comparison to other local venues was not up to standard expected. The restaurant menu was overpriced again compared to local alternatives. The breakfast in the morning was not worth the additional charge and a trip to any other local venue would have been cheaper and possibly warm. The Spa was overcrowded to the point that parents with children where using the Sauna and Steam room as the pool was oversubscribed. The bar was cold (due to the doors to the golf course being open) and was again over subscribed as the only alternative to the formal dining area. The alternative bar, which was quieter seemed to close really early meaning an early night for guests sat in there. Overall the hotel needs a bit of upgrading, the Deluxe Rooms should be seen as standard as compared to other hotels in lower price points that what they are. Other rooms we saw during our stay would definitely not be worth the price, especially in proximity to other hotels in birmingham or the premier Inn's offer. A bit disappointed with the offer and the hotel gave off the "sweating an asset" vibe.

Should’ve had tv box in the room, clearly taken out as wire were shown, fridge didn’t work, was replace but that didn’t work either, later found out was electrical fault ,this didn’t get sorted as no electrician on site. Room was comfortable, pleasant, needs updating though. Staff extremely friendly, breakfast needs more buffet selections, main meal was tasty . Bar expensive though.

    Our room was very dated.

Our room was very dated. Furniture scuffed, only one bedside light which didn’t work and toilet roll holder broken. Bathroom very dated. Lovely large super king bed which was very comfortable. Not all rooms are same standard as other guests remarked theirs were more modern but as was only an overnight stay for a wedding, we did not complain. The wedding was superb, the decoration and wedding breakfast food excellent.

Everything about our weekend stay at the hotel was great. All of the staff were friendly and professional: the staff in reception, in the restaurant and bars, and the cleaning staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms were good. It's the 4th time our family has met up to celebrate birthdays at Lea Marston as it's a central location. And I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
