The area is full of natural beauty. Nearby towns and villages are easily accessible by car so perfect for taking in nature, history, meeting with friends or looking for a place to stay in the beautiful Cotswolds. The town of Burford is in close proximity for those who want to visit a traditional Cotswold town and browse the many shops, cafe’s restaurants and pubs. The pub atmosphere was very relaxing, the staff were great and the garden bedroom was very wonderful and warm. The restaurant menu was a bit limited and expensive for a country pub, would have expected some pub grub as well. The only problem was that a drunk driver had seriously damaged the bridge across the Thames causing the road to be closed which is the only access to Lechlade from the South. Good breakfast at Lynwood&Co, great diner at the New Inn Hotel. Also very dog friendly.
