Charming town with cobbled streets, quaint buildings and an array of bespoke, non-chain shops and restaurants. Beautiful church with historical significance, stunning stained glass windows and paintings. The Olive Tree restaurant is highly recommended for very good quality Italian food. We loved Ledbury, full of quaint old building and independent shops. Good selection of places to eat and drink. Town center isn't big but can find everything you need along with supermarkets quite close to center. Lovely walks around the town and surrounding areas with some nice views. We went into Ledbury to eat at an excellent pub (suggested by Fiona) the Seven Stars. Super staff, great food and beer. We walked up and down the town (unfortunately we arrived to late to look around inside the shops). but still all very quaint. We had driven from Suffolk and were on our way to St Davids Wales for a weeks holiday. Excellent half way point to spend the night. This hotel is in a very old building so it is a bit quirky and can appear a little tatty at the edges in the common parts but the rooms we had were very clean, comfortable and attractive.
