Absolutely clean, well kept, superb rooms and surroundings. Very friendly, helpful staff and a absolutely tasty breakfast. There is so much to do from here. And - If I would live here, I would go and play Golf here, the Golf course is extraordinary, well kept and plain beautiful!!!

We have stayed in The dog & bear Hotel several times now and we have always enjoyed staying there. Everything is always perfectly in order, the rooms as well as the restaurant. A gluten free diet is no problem for the cook, which we appreciate very much. When we recently stayed in the hotel we arrived very late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and that was no problem either. The personnel is always friendly. We travel to the UK twice a year and hope to stay in the Dog & Bear more often.

Beautiful setting and building Friendly welcoming staff I received a free upgrade which meant I got to stay in the main house. I saw a cosy lounge area for afternoon tea. Beautiful grand staircase. Festive decorations made it really warm and cosy. Attended a party in the stable area. Perfect for a sit down meal for around 60 people. Food was fantastic and hot. Service was excellent Late checkout is 11am which leaves time to enjoy the breakfast from a menu. Not by buffet style. Highly recommend.

    The tents are lovely. Spacious, comfortable beds, electric heater, electric and some tea/coffee, flasks for hot water. Decking area, bbq/fire pit area and toilets, shower kitchen all close by and well equipped. All on the door step of Leeds Castle which is fantastic for kids. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it and we had a ball during the day and evening.

    Absolutely brilliant - very comfortable beds and tents, great facilities and 1.5 days access to all the attractions at Leeds Castle. The kids loved the maze, the castle playground, the queen’s movie and the games room. We’ll be back again next year.
