It was a lovely couple of days.
It was a lovely couple of days. Lots to see and do within a short car ride. It was a shame that a wedding party arrived on our second night with happy but boisterous ladies. The staff were excellent, nice and very helpful. Breakfast was average and the evening meals were adequate, but the hotel was lovely as you would expect from a country manor house, very quirky too. The room and especially the bathroom are superb, very cleanly kept too, Would we go back ? This time the weather was great and showed the hotel at its best. Lovely surroundings, exceptionally friendly staff, fascinating characterful building with history and current charm, very clean, nice food, very cosy public areas, big room, accessible options, nice bathroom, plenty of towels and large free car park.
