Pretty much everything! From the friendly welcome, the gorgeous rooms, the lovely view and the fabulous food - it was all spot on. Special thanks to Mel on reception who was really helpful and knowledgeable. We had a bar meal and the serving staff were excellent, then the same at breakfast. All in all, a very enjoyable stay with the whole party planning to recommend The Royal to everyone in the Isle of Man!

We received the codes fo get into the property and our room well in advance to ensure smooth self check in. The rooms were very clean. Individual toiletries were provided. We went to watch opening match of the season. There was a Liverpool scarf in the room for us to take to the game abd keep later on. We thought it was a very nice gesture. Mike was super helpful. Messaged us several times during our stay to check up on us abd ensure our stay was comfortable He even allowed us to check out as late as we needed to the day after the match. Overall we were very happy with the overall experience. Would highly recommend anyone going to Anfield fo watch a game... either with family or with friends!

Liverpool is my home city and loved going back to stay in the heart of the city. We live in Australia now and it was nice to hear so many Scouse accents and see friendly faces. We visited family and friends, so it was a good base to stay at 😉

The Albert Docks / Pier Head area of Liverpool is vibrant.

The Albert Docks / Pier Head area of Liverpool is vibrant. The Museum of Liverpool and Beatles Experience are well worth a visit, as is a ride on the famous Ferry Across the Mersey. Unfortunately the Tate Liverpool was closed for refurbishment during my visit. Albert Docks has restaurants for all tastes.

A very interesting city. My wife & I were following a mystery guide ( www.mysteryguides.co.uk ) which we found very helpful and showed us a lot of the city's historic places. Because of this we also found Ma Boyles Bar & Eatery where we enjoyed two evening meals.

Crowne Plaza Liverpool was in a central location on the Albert docks while being slightly away from the hustle of the city centre about a 10 minute walk into all the shopping, bars & restaurants. The staff here were friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable & very clean. This hotel is fully equipped with bar, restaurant breakfast every morning was delicious with something for everyone. Thank you ☺️

I only needed a cheap room for the night as I had a very early train the next morning. This hotel is ideal. It is less than 10mins walk from Lime Street, and about 2 mins from Liverpool One if you needed to be central to the city centre. It has what you need, tea and coffee, shower facilities etc. Room is comfortable and provides enough space. Wifi is free and held throughout my time there.

The hotel is very well located in Liverpool city centre, the Albert docks are almost in front of the hotel and you can go almost everywhere in the city centre on foot. Close by there is a huge parking, which is very convenient if you are coming by car. The hotel is modern and rooms are comfortable.
