Yes. I visit Liverpool every couple of months to see my daughter who's at uni there. The city centre is clean and friendly, while Bold Street is brilliant for a wide choice of restaurants serving great food and Sefton Park is definitely worth a visit.

Liverpool was better than I expected. Lots of stuff to do, interesting buildings and history. We were staying at the Holiday Inn close to Albert Dock. Obviously it's great if you're a Beatles or Liverpool FC fan but it's so much more. Will definitely go back and explore more.

The beatles bus tour was brilliant , as was the hop on and off city bus tour. Liverpool has very good pubs and restaurants. Went to a concert at the Arena where the staff work so hard to help and keep you safe. The docks area is so lovely and clean . All the people are so friendly, we felt so safe . We recommend that anyone no matter what age will have a great time.

Liverpool has so much to offer with its diversity.

Liverpool has so much to offer with its diversity. Great shops, concerts, museums, the docks, boat trips and much much more. The people are friendly and helpful. Good choice of restaurants and bars to suit everyone. Best way to get around Liverpool is to walk (you discover so much more) alternatively, hop on an open top bus which will take you on a tour around the city. A visit to the Christmas markets is fun, filled with goodies for the kids, food halls, fair ground and tasting stands of different alcohol, cheeses, jams etc taste before you buy - perfect.

The location is fine if you don’t want to be right in the city centre. You are a 10 minute walk from the Albert docks. Parking was available and only £7 a day even on ladies day of the festival when we went. Paid £200 for 1 night which was okay as all hotels increase their prices for the festival. The hotel is a 3 star which could be downgraded to a 2 star in my opinion as the hotel is very outdated and in dire need of a refurb. All in all if you’re looking for somewhere just to get your head down this hotel is adequate.

Jacob on Reception was very informative with a good introduction to where is best to visit whilst in Liverpool. The cost of the hotel stay was very good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the shops and Albert Docks. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed pulls out to be 2 single beds which you have to throw sheets on to make up the bed ready to sleep and then a double bed is already made up. Our room had a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and clothes washer machine.
