A very interesting city.
A very interesting city. My wife & I were following a mystery guide ( www.mysteryguides.co.uk ) which we found very helpful and showed us a lot of the city's historic places. We visited in September and the city was relatively quiet. Easy to book onto tours, magical mystery tour and the ferry tour are both good value. The city is very clean and the people very friendly. Seasoned visitors to Liverpool- whats not to like. From the local Shopping centre/Liverpool 1 to the shops/cafes/restaurants situated around The Albert Docks.. the amazing famous Liver Bird Building, the cruise ships ( if in) all the way to The Cavern Quaters/Mathew St...day/night life your stay in Liverpool will always be memorable! Hotel was in excellent position, our train journey was perfect no changes all the way from Cleethorpes, when we arrived ten minutes and we arrived at Sir T hotel. Great live music, very friendly and helpful local people who are rightly proud of this buzzing city. Music on Friday night in Mathew Street was excellent, we loved Flanagans Apple. As the night went on the alcohol got the better of some, but we did not feel worried or nervous strolling around.
