The onwers of the place were courteous and helped us a lot, they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Even though we were a bit late, they still prepared a dinner for us at the restaurant, which was insanely delicious. The room was large, beautiful, and very comfortable and atmospheric. Would warmly recommend!

I got sick and lost my voice on my last few days, i had to spend a day I had planned to be out doing things stuck in the hotel and the staff was so nice in accomodating for me especially with how I couldn’t talk. Everyone was lovely and so kind and the place was great.

A huge thank you to our hosts who were so friendly and accommodating. This place is a little paradise and just amazing. The views are stunning and it was so peaceful and relaxing to sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is also cosy and beautifully decorated. We just loved it and would love to stay again. We were also surprised to receive a welcome pack on arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cottage itself is a gem—cozy, and inviting. We especially enjoyed evenings by the wood fire, which filled the space with warmth and charm. The beds are comfortable, and the warm bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep. A thoughtful touch was the Christmas tree, which added a magical and homely feel to the cottage. Lots of places to visit offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that truly feeds the soul with the beauty of nature. We enjoyed tranquil walks taking in the peace and quiet that felt worlds away from busy city life. The generous and kind-hearted owners made us feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality added so much to our experience.

    Too shorter stay, but seems a pretty village with river running through and pathway running alongside. Good for walk with dogs Would have eaten at hotel. Would be useful info for nearest supermarkets and shops. Local leisure info and if there is any, although there are a few leaflets. Are there any local musical gigs.

    Plenty of Tea and coffee, and all you need in the bathroom , Saturday Night is Party night so don't plan an early night, I wasn't back till late so it didn't matter. It is a Free Pub so good selection of everything including stone and ordinary Doom Bar when I was there

    Despite Booking.com thinking I stayed in Llanegryn in fact...

    Despite Booking.com thinking I stayed in Llanegryn in fact my accommodation was at Bryncrug, some distance away. Bryncrrug, especially The Peniarth Arms, was full of local characters, really friendly and welcoming. Since I mainly spent my time at The Talyllyn Railway I only took a short walk in Bryncrug itself so have no specific thoughts on the village surroundings

    Loved the location & peaceful surroundings, some of the walks across the fields are difficult to follow as they are not as well walked as many others. The Peniarth Arms in Bryncrug is very friendly & the food is good. The walk around Tal y llyn lake & walks out from Happy Valley are worth doing. Also enjoyed a visit to Aberystwyth, a lovely town. Also found parking charges in the area to be extremely reasonable.
