Our stay at White Waters Hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Getting there was easy, and parking was a breeze, which made arriving so much more relaxing. From the moment we walked in, the staff member was warm and welcoming, friendly and happy to help. The room was spotless, well-laid out, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Waking up to the incredible views of the River Dee was just the cherry on top—it’s absolutely breathtaking! The hotel itself is nice, and the pool was a great place to unwind. Everything just felt effortless and enjoyable, exactly what you want from a stay like this. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It was such a lovely atmosphere, being in a converted old chapel. High ceilings and gorgeous cosy rooms. Sally went above and beyond what a host should have to do. She was very accommodating and helped me whenever I needed some support getting to places and finding my way around.

The cowshed is in a stunning location up on the hill just outside of Llangollen. The road up the street is a little rocky so if like us you had a hire car you may want to go very slow. The room itself surpassed expectations it was beautiful! The bed was comfy, there were lovely chairs to lounge in and read and the terrace had a little table and chairs if you wanted to sit outside or have breakfast out there. The owner, was so friendly offering recommendations for food and they brought breakfast (croissants, toast, fruit, yoghurt and orange juice) which was an unexpected bonus. For me the highlight was the bath, it is a delight and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. If I were back in the area I would stay here again without hesitation.

    Plenty of tourist attractions, including canal trips and heritage railway. Good easy walking, including along canal towpath in both directions. Interesting local shops, cafes, and restaurants. Other attractions such as Snowdon, country houses, etc. only a modest drive away.

    Lovely little town - easy to get to from England, and close...

    Lovely little town - easy to get to from England, and close enough (I'm from the Midlands) to visit for one night. Our highlight was Plas Newydd, a fantastic manor house with an interesting history, and friendly knowledgeable staff (and a great tea room too!)

    The place was easy to find.

    The place was easy to find. The gravel road leading up to the accommodation is fine, despite what other travellers say. If your car has got a second gear, you’ll be fine. Upon arrival at the yurt, I was surprised how much personal space you have and it is cleverly secluded. The whole aspect of the garden surrounding the yurt sends to be surf facing, so there’s plenty of sunshine in a nice day. I could write a book on the good points about this place but to cut a long story short, I’ve been glamping for many years this is one of the best places that I have stayed at.

    The Parking is always challenging as non residents come for lunch when the sun is out. The overflow Car Park was also jammed . The Car Park outside the hotel needs to be restricted to residents after . 3.0pm

    Super little town with great cafes and independent shops. Beautiful old bridge with lovely walks alongside the River Dee. Easy walk to the train station where one can do an hours trip to Corwen on the steam train. Lots to see and do. Will definitely come back

    Beautiful town with lots to do nearby and also a special place to relax and recover. Great food and atmosphere at The Cornmill and a lovely canal side walk to Pontcysyllte Aquaduct for a great welcome at The Telford Inn

    Best stay In Llangollen. Great location, friendly staff and the best food. We had one of the most delicious breakfast in a hotel - not a buffet but a gourmet meal cooked to order. The reception and cook made us feel very welcomed and the price for the experience you get is second to none.

    The setting is beautiful! Set between the Llangollen canal and river Dee, the hotel is surrounded by water making it very restful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is continental with a very good choice. Would definitely stay again!
