I guess it depends on what you are looking for but I really like lossiemouth. It has wonderful sandy beaches and lovely walking trails. Admittedly, the jets from the RAF base can be noisy but, personally, I quite like seeing them and they are not a constant presence. There is no entertainment available, just a peaceful, friendly, place to spend some time unwinding.

Fabulous Town with lots going on.

Fabulous Town with lots going on. Plenty of restaurants and places to visit. We managed to see the new bridge onto the East Beach which was fantastic. We even managed to see a wedding ceremony on the beach.

Historic sea town with old cottages plus newer areas with gridiron street pattern are interesting. Visit the harbours - now with pleasure craft, not fishing boats. Beaches are extensive, backed by dunes and pine forests.

Lossiemouth is very clean and tidy.

Lossiemouth is very clean and tidy. If you are looking for shops and the usual that goes with it forget it. This is nice beaches and paddling/swimming in the sea. Plenty of exercise walking along the beach. If you have a Dog he//she will love it. There is also the necessary ice cream shop! We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our trio from the lovely accommodation to getting some sea air🪯

we love Lossiemouth and surrounding areas. we lived in both Elgin and Lossiemouth for 11years. It is a beautiful place, very easy to explore other places in the highlands in Elgin there is a Turkish Restaurant called Ada the food is delicious, I would recommend it to anyone, Lossiemouth has a lovely cafeteria called The Pier. again well worth a visit, Lossiemouth has a wonderful beach and other facilities to keep children amused. in our opinion a beautiful place to visit. i have a disability ang was able to use my wheelchair or mobility scooter with ease. i hope this is helpful.

Good location and price with a great view of the beach and sea. Well-maintained and clean. Nice towels and bed linen. Decent shower. TV, iron, ironing board, fridge and kettle with tea, coffee, and biscuits. There is a bar and restaurant on-site though I didn't use them. A short walk to the beach and shops and other bars. The accommodation area of the hotel has a separate door, so no need to go through the bar.

The house is well located for the local town facilities and a bus stop is located at the top of the road making easy to travel into Elgin. The quality of the fixtures and fittings are excellent and during a four night stay we had everything we needed - top marks to the host for the level of thought to give guests a more than satisfactory visit.

We have stayed on a number of occasions and the hosts are excellent and rooms are of a high standard. The breakfast certainly sets you up for the day. If you are golfing it is literally only about 50 yards at most to the clubhouse. Views from the front bedrooms are spectacular over the Moray Firth.

It is like a hotel without the restaurant or bar. Communication was excellent and kind. Rooms were lovely and beds really comfortable. Location was superb with beautiful views over the Moray Firth.
