Sweet and picturesque lakeside village.
Sweet and picturesque lakeside village. We did some beautiful walks- enjoyed boat ride around loch and spent a few hours on idyllic island in loch. A couple of small gift shops and a village store with fantastic cakes and essential supplies. A nice hotel and small restaurant/ cafe to eat in . We had a car and drive to other nearby lochs and had breathtaking drive up to glencoe and glen elive….. iconic James Bond sky-fall location. Luss village was really picturesque - such an attractive spot on the Loch. We used it as a base for a Loch Cruise which was great. Luss is incredibly popular, and with the exceptional weather, the car park was full very quickly. Culag is in a stunning setting, Patrick is a fantastic host.
Culag is in a stunning setting, Patrick is a fantastic host. The property was superb plenty tea,coffee,sugar and even fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. The main bathroom has a divine bath which was a nice surprise. The Duck Bay Hotel down the road serves amazing meals overlooking Loch Lomond. Great choice for something unique and special. My elderly parents would have struggled to get their luggage up the three flights of stairs without me so good for travellers to consider this.
