Lovely town.
Lovely town. You have plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. We particularly liked the Solero Lounge. Everyone in the shops and eateries was pleasant and friendly. We loved Hythe quay. A lovely historic town.
A lovely historic town. Enjoyed walking along the promenade looking at the historic barges. Also enjoyed walking over the causeway to Northey Island. We liked walks around the Blackwater River.
We liked walks around the Blackwater River. Maldon was easy to walk around and leaving the car parked up the whole time we were there was useful. The town was clean and people friendly. A nice relaxed feel to the place. Superb place for a short stay - lots of history, lots of...
Superb place for a short stay - lots of history, lots of individualistic shops and a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Head down to the quay for a sense of its maritime past and maybe go for a two-hour walk to and around Northey Island, linked by a causeway. Maldon is a lovely medieval town with the Blackwater Estuary...
Maldon is a lovely medieval town with the Blackwater Estuary homing sailing boats and private boats, and a town with a vast selection of small shops and eateries. The Promenade is lovely to walk along, there are two playgrounds and a splash pool for the children, leading to a lovely park.
