Great little hotel with amazing, friendly staff. The rooms are quite large and comfy. We were welcomed with cookies and there was tea and coffee in the room. The shower and bath were so nice, quite modern and super clean. We checked in after exploring the little towns around Stonehenge and decided to stay in for dinner. We were silly and didn’t make a reservation, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. Make sure to book your table! We all had delicious pizzas, sides and wine, the most perfect ending to a day of exploring and getting lots of steps in! We were served by the most loveliest staff. Lisa, Amy and - apologies as I didn’t ask for her name- a dark haired lady were always professional, fun and friendly. Lisa took the time to explain to us how to get to Stonehenge easily. We only stayed for one night and left early to walk to Stonehenge, but took advantage of the breakfast and it was absolutely gorgeous. So many delicious options! What a great hotel! Very impressed with the facilities, staff and great food. If you had any doubts about booking, this is your sign to go ahead and confirm it. It will exceed your expectations as it did mine!

An amazing facility set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside: this is a former public house converted to the most modern standard. The guest accommodation is secure and private, is fully equipped, and even has its own gym & sauna. Toby the host war really friendly and helpful and made sure we had a nice stay. The dogs are friendly as well! We followed all of Toby's recommendations for things to do in the area and were not disappointed (breakfast at Honeystreet Mill Cafy, visit to Avebury and Old Sarum). Overall we had a great stay:)

The Barge Inn is a little Paradise with the friendliest People. The Room was huge and a perfect Mix of beautyful renovated old and modern. I heard they sometimes host music Festivals (check their website). No idea if it can get loud then but as we were there it was super quiet at night and we slept wonderful. The Bed was big and very comfortable. I have to eat glutenfree and they offered me many options for breakfast (GF Granola, Cornflakes, Bread..) and a full english Breakfast. Also our dog was very welcomed. Even in the bar. We were so happy and already make plans to come back once for longer.

Beatiful old world inn in a peaceful location. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Food was top quality and reasonably priced. Add the very friendly and helpful staff to this and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks for a great stay.
