Breakfast was simple and nice. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean and bright. And given there was an U18 rug by team along my hall. I was not disturbed at all and slept comfortably. It was so nice to have a gym for an early evening and morning workout. Even a non pro felt good in there!

Charming , picturesque little town. Close to Henley on Thames with independent shops & restaurants. Didn't have chance to try the pubs, but told they are good which is nice to know. Where we live in West Country so many have closed down.

Loved the setting and the main Restaurant both excellent.

Loved the setting and the main Restaurant both excellent. Marlow is lovely. As for the staff and the rooms, for what you pay to stay at The Complete Anglier was a rip off and way too expensive. 3 times on arrival our coffee machine had to be changed as not working. I had to run backwards and forwards to reception as there was no phone in the room. No concierge on duty on arrival and it was a busy week because of Henley, badly planned. Receptionist wasnt helpful with anything. We had a trickle of water in the sink in the bathroom so had to use the bath to wash hands, this never worked for the 2 nights we were there. The hot water was cold the first night of our stay. Luckily we’d showered at home. The water was still cold the next morning we had to go to reception to report it which took about 25mins for someone to come. He had to run the water for a good 20+mins till it came through warm. We had a deadline to keep to so nw we were 45mins behind. The curtains were torn as pic below. Complete disaster and for what they charge we felt ripped off. We were representing The Watermen & Lightermen of the River Thames, so this review will be very interesting to all. We didnt even get an apology.

Location is good for a nice break and right in the centre of Marlow. Great pubs and restaurants and shops. We visited our favourite restaurant The Hand & Flowers and enjoyed a stroll along the High Street. Marlow has a lovely park to walk through and you can walk along the riverside. We enjoyed a drink on the lawn watching rowing, ducks and swans.

lovley but very busy town on the River Thames. parking is a nightmare with every car park rammed but strangly the town/cafes etc itself was "quieter"....Some lovley cafes and shops (some major high street and independants too). Nice church down by the bridge with access to the riverside well worth a visit too. Ate in Laurents and Gails - Laurents is by far the best of the two

We had fantastic weather which was perfect for a lovely long walk along the river, sitting outside for coffee and lunch, mooch around the many boutiques dotted around, all capped off with dinner at The Ivy.

In my opinion Danesfield house an exceptionally lovely hotel in a perfect location close to Marlow and Henley on Thames in beautiful grounds. The spa is great and the pool has great views from the windows across the gardens. The staff were all very nice and I have very much enjoyed my stays here. The food in the restaurant is delicious.
