The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. Pretty town on the Menai Strait with lots of historical interest (the Telford Menai suspension bridge, the Victorian Britannia railway bridge). Lovely views across the water. Great pubs and restaurants available, particularly Dylan’s (a small North Walian chain with local produce) and The Freckled Angel. Easy to get around on foot. We visited Plas Newydd (NT), Newborough Forest, Rhos Neigra, South Stacks (RSPB) and Beaumaris. Menai is just at the tip of the island and just over the beautiful bridge, a sight you will never get tired of. Everything is easily drivable, lovely beaches, you are spoilt for choice. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was included (kettle / iron / ironing board etc.) so no need to worry on that front. What got me was the quietness of the location (no road traffic noise etc. and not Menai Bridge for things to do) - I'm under Manchester Airport flightpath so refreshing to have tranquility.
