    We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Merton, despite the weather...

    We enjoyed our 4 night stay in Merton, despite the weather not being great the location was perfect. The use of the pool was an added bonus. Finding the cottage was easy, just a short drive down a farm lane from the main road You do need a car to get about but there are some lovely places to visit. Best place to eat in Westward Ho is Country Cousins, they do an amazing carvery.

    The room & character of the Inn & the food we ate & the...

    The room & character of the Inn & the food we ate & the staff were all lovely. The only thing that put us off was the fact there is no bathroom door & if a shower screen was added to the bath & a hook for the shower head it would have been perfect. Also you could hear what people were saying from the bar, snug below!
