The hotel was in a perfect location, and my whole experience of staying there was exceptional. Everyone was so hospitable, from arranging an early check-in to chatting about the local area and giving advice on travel (it was extremely icy conditions, and they advised where to avoid driving). The hotel was spotless, quiet, and my room was spacious and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

We were in a comfortable and spacious room and the room was ready to enter before the scheduled check-in time, which was nice. It was only one night, ahead of a flight from Luton but it was a good choice. The riverside location is pleasant and, whilst we did not eat there other than breakfast it was clearly very popular locally for lunch and dinner. The breakfast itself was excellent, with notably good quality ingredients. We would very happily stay again if in the area.

    Staff, landlord and landlady excellent, food very good. The hotel/pub has been updated beautiful since we moved from area. Bedrooms are work to be done in near future. Spotlessly clean, and I'm fussy. I would highly recommend and would stay again. Great position, on outskirts of Bedford and Rushden. Road is busy but very quiet at night. Loved our stay

    Staff are very friendly, showed us around the pub/hotel and the room. The room was nicely laid out traditional furniture with some information and books about the village and the beds were comfortable. Honestly I couldn't find fault with it, we plan to stay here again when we're next in the area.
