Lovely village in perfect location for visiting south...

We absolutely love Minchinhampton especially the common It's a great place to be out in the open with fantastic views. There are so many walks in the area and amazing places to eat. I love that it’s a small quiet town .
I love that it’s a small quiet town . The view of the woods from our cottage’s was absolutely beautiful especially in the evening. It’s a small old , lovely town and everyone was really friendly. Heard the pubs are great, but I am not into that type of thing. We stayed in our cottage mostly, did not experience the town much . We go to Nailsworth about every 3 months to visit our elderly relative. We absolutely love the area. We have stayed in most of the hotels within a 5 mile radius. For us we find the Ragged Cot suits us particularly well as it’s on our way back home. We have not explored very much as we spend most of our time visiting. There is a very nice fish and chip shop in Nailsworth. Nailsworth is a super town ,it even has an oldie worldie. We think you will love it we do.Guest review byShirleyUnited Kingdom
