Monreith is very quiet, no shops or pub.
Monreith is very quiet, no shops or pub. But there is a beach, you just need to know the tide times. No light pollution at all - was awesome with a full moon, sadly no northern lights, as very cloud & wet for the week we were there. It’s a great place with fantastic views across to Isle of Man, Galloway lighthouse and amazing stone walls everywhere yo go. Ninias cave is a gorgeous walk down and ending up with stunning views.
