Our travels were delayed which meant we were not going to arrive before the kitchen closed serving meals. However they made us some exceptional sandwiches for us to eat once we had arrived. Communication with all of the staff was very professional and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

    Beautiful old market town with lots of tiny independent shops covered with black and white wood framed houses. Great stop over when you do a canal boating trip Ate at the Indian called NAAZ in Pillar street. Great food, lovely staff.

    I grew up near Nantwich many years ago.

    I grew up near Nantwich many years ago. Then it was a charming market town. Now it has been spoilt by development and over building, almost every available square metre used for new houses. Such a pity!

    Nantwich is beautiful with varied architectural buildings, lots of places to eat and drink, leisurely walks can be had by the river and there are plenty of shops. There was a quality street market on the Saturday we were there but it wasn't too busy.

    Quaint town with some well-preserved old buildings and loads of pubs. Stayed at the Cheshire Cat, drank at the Black Lion, the Crown looked fantastic (but didn't go in) and Ebeneezer's Beer Emporium is a surprisingly cosy and fantastically stocked craft beer venue. Had a cuppa in the Book Shop which is an amazing building. Visited the Museum which is decent considering the size of the town. The lauded St Mary's church is impressive but in our view doesn't live up to it's hype. And the River Loop (which isn't really a round walk as we understand it) was also a little disappointing although pleasant enough.

    The size of the accommodation, it was massive & within very easy reach of all the shops & the cafe beneath the accommodation provided everything you could wish for & I enjoyed the most beautiful full English breakfast whereas my husband went for the pie & chips, all delicious. It was a great chance to meet up with an old friend who lives in Nantwich.

    Excellent location in the centre of Nantwich. Being so old, the hotel is quirky in the different levels of rooms and creaky staircases. There is a lovely pub on the ground floor and the restaurant offers excellent food. There is free car parking just a one minute walk away.

    Exceptionally clean. The bedrooms are huge. The hosts were very accommodating for an early check in. The area is residential and very quiet. The parking space on the driveway is a godsend. Neighbours do have problems parking their cars. We look forward to a return visit.
