    It’s a very quiet.

    It’s a very quiet. There is some history ti the village as it was a “model village”, planned by Sir William Forbes in 1797. The houses and cottages run along near the ridge of a hill and the village descends info a Glen. The village follows a grid pattern and High Street and Low Street are interconnected by lanes. There’s a good Indian restaurant and a nice hotel: the New Pitsligo Arms that also has a restaurant.
