Quiet town with just Co-op.
Quiet town with just Co-op. Has a few hotels, lovely golf course which is why we were there. Stunning Letterbox restaurant and great cafe The Grill. Plenty of walks round and about. It was the perfect getaway for a couple, and we especially appreciated that it was dog friendly—our pup felt just as welcome as we did! The house was very comfortable, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel like a true home away from home. Plenty of parking space. We had a good supper in the restaurant, and a good breakfast the following day. Some lovely local beers served in the bar, and although it shut mid evening there was another pub just over the road which the landlord had recommended.
