A convenient rest place for my trip to Southampton I thought...
A convenient rest place for my trip to Southampton I thought, but sadly this hotel is very tired, very noisy and uncomfortable. There’s a pub attached for meals which was nice for what it was, but the road outside is extremely busy with traffic all day and night and the window gives no noise cancellation at all. The bed was so old I could feel the springs so had no sleep. The bathroom was fine, a good shower and clean towels. I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff on reception was very nice and helpful. It is reasonably priced but I do feel the rooms all need to be updated making it hard to say if it's truly value for money. I have no complaints about the overall presentation of the hotel.
